“What you remember is exactly what you need to know. No need to argue about the truth when any set of facts can lead you to dozens of different ones! Through visual cues, participants will mine their own memories around personal, family, community, and national events”, said Judith Black.
“Our storyteller will accept all offerings and weave stories reflecting participants lives” said Rosaleen Doherty Co-Owner of Right at Home Boston and North.

“Participants will also be invited to work in dyads creating stories around shared memories. Our work will tighten the weave of this community with trust, shared history, and imagination as the engines”, said Judith Black.
A Memory Café is a welcoming and safe place for people with forgetfulness or other changes in their thinking and their family, friends and caretakers to come together. For those that require the personal assistance of another must be accompanied by a caretaker. All café’s share these goals: to help guests feel comfortable and know they are not alone. They are a place to talk with others who understand what you are going through, to leave behind limitations and instead focus on strengths.
Please come and join us for the next Memory Café held on Tuesday June 12th from 1:00PM-3:00PM at Saint Andrew’s Episcopal Church located at 135 Lafayette Street, Marblehead, MA 01945. The café runs the second Tuesday of each month from 1:00PM-3:00PM.
