MARBLEHEAD, MA — That big Supreme Court ruling finally came down. And it's a hard 'G.'
The Marblehead Board of Selectmen asked Chief Justice John Roberts to make sure gerrymandering - named after Marblehead's Elbridge Gerry - is pronounced with a hard 'G.'
Gerry is the former Governor of Massachusetts and served as Vice President under James Madison. He signed both the Declaration of Independence and Articles of Confederation.
