Teen Charged With Malicious Destruction of Property at High School

Friday, Dec. 19
At 1:31 p.m., police received a call about a person sitting in a vehicle at Emerald and Ruby avenues. Police spoke to the person who was picking up someone.
At 1:56 p.m., police arrested Chase L. Nevins, 19, 19 Cheever Ave., Marblehead, and charged him with malicious destruction of property more than $250. Police made the arrest after responding to Marblehead HIgh School about a student acting up.

At 8:08 p.m., a Gerald Road resident reported a possible underage drinking party. She said she saw nine kids go in the back of a house with alcohol and one of them was vominging. Police responded and brought one of the youths to the station. Police contacted the parents, who picked up the youths.

At 4:44 p.m., police responded to Edgewood Road about an altercation in the roadway. Police spoke to the two people who shook hands.
At 5:26 p.m., police responded to Beach Street about a man trying to “break open” the resident’s door. The resident said the man broke the door off the hinges. Police found the man was at the wrong residence. Police do not believe the man broke the door. It was rusted and the wind likely broke it.
