Teen Girl Runs When Approached By Man In Vehicle: Police
The 16-year-old told police she ran into a public bathroom and locked herself inside for 30 minutes.

MARBLEHEAD, MA — Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man who a 16-year-old girl said tried to get her into his car Wednesday night.
Police said around 7 p.m. near Humphrey Street and Brookhouse Drive, the girl, who was visiting town, was approached by a man in what she called a "small silver car - not an SUV." The girl ran into a nearby building and locked herself in a public bathroom for about 30 minutes, police said. She didn't have a phone, so she stayed in the bathroom until a family member arrived in what was a pre-arranged meeting.
The man was described as possibly in his 30s and either black of Hispanic.
