It has been rumored about town that the Marblehead Building Association was to build a large addition to one of the Association factories but the rumor is not confirmed. The firm of Humphrey & Paine are very much in need of more floor space on account of their rapidly increasing business and as they are located on the third floor of Building No. 2 and there is a part of the third floor in Building No. 1 now unoccupied, the Association is to build a bridge connecting the two buildings on the third floors. This will give the firm the desired floor space, and while not quite as convenient as some other plan might be, they will consider it quite acceptable.

Benefit Dance:

The Marblehead Base-ball Team will hold a benefit dance at Monday, May 29. As no admission is charged to the games and some of the players are paid for their services, it is necessary to have funds to maintain the team.
