Library Plans Approved: A large segment of the population is expected to carry considerable favorable sentiment for the building of a new library in town. The new library will fill a long felt need in Marblehead where per capita percentage of use of the library facilities is far above the national average.

Give to New Mary Alley Hospital: Residents were encouraged to "give now and give generously" to the former Mary Alley Hospital on Widger Road. "More people are working, more business is being done, more profits are being made. Save paying taxes, help a good cause, give to the new Mary Alley Hospital.

Hurricane Strikes Marblehead: The new Hurricane airplane engine along with many other features of the new Willys, should hit pretty hard Monday when Central Motors EK Peabody, prop., opens its new home at 33 Atlantic Avenue and opens its doors to the public to inspect the new Aero Willys.

Header Sails in Ticonderoga: News came this week from the Nassau Development Board's news bureau that Uka Walter of Marblehead was a member of the crew aboard the big Herreshoff ketch Ticonderoga in the recent 184-mile Miami-Nassau ocean race.
