Tobin Bridge: Northbound Tolls Coming, Report Says
Tolls are coming to the northbound lane of the Tobin Bridge, state transportation officials said.

BOSTON, MA — There will be a new tolling system at the Tobin Bridge starting this fall.
Currently, drivers are charged $2.50 to enter Boston on the southbound side of the bridge. That will change in October, when state transportation officials said both the southbound and northbound lanes will have a $1.25 toll, according to CBS Boston.
The electronic tolls allow drivers to speed through without stopping. If a driver doesn't have an E-ZPass transponder, a photo will be taken of the car's license plate and the driver will be billed.
