Traffic Stop Leads to Arrests for Open Container, OUI, Warrants and More

Friday, March 13

At 11:02 a.m., a caller reported water was pouring through the ceiling from the unit above. The upstairs resident was taking a bath and it appeared to be an issue in the walls.

At 9:51 p.m., a caller reported four males “stalking” around the front of the building and suspected a party might be forming. Police were unable to find anything.

Saturday, March 14

At 2:51 p.m., a woman came into the station to report that two mobile phones she did not order had been delivered to her house. The package arrived in her name and with her address on it, but there appeared to be a different credit card number than hers used to place the order.

At 8:45 p.m., a motor vehicle stop resulted in the arrest of Edgar Ovidio Perez-Lopez and Victor J. Deleon. Perez-Lopez was charged with OUI liquor, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle and a lights violation. Deleon was arrested on warrants out of Lynn and Marblehead.

Sunday, March 15

At 11:35 a.m., a woman reported that she saw a man ”stumble” into a pickup truck after crushing a beer can. She said he may have just been off-balance, but she felt better reporting the incident. Police located the man and a beer can next to his truck. He checked out, crushed the beer can and threw it into the truck bed.

At 12:04 p.m., a wallet containing money and rolling papers was found and returned to the owner.

At 6:04 p.m., a caller reported a male to be sleeping “in an strange position” in a vehicle.

At 6:36 p.m., lights were reported to be flickering in several houses that all connected to the same transformer.
