MARBLEHEAD, MA — The following are excerpts from the Marblehead police log:

Tue., July 26

• 8:31 a.m. A Cannondale bicycle was stolen from a garage on Stratford Road.
• 3:43 p.m. A Marblehead Veterans Middle School custodian called police and said two young girls were doing donuts on the parking lot. The vehicle was described as a newer model Volvo.
• 4:20 p.m. IRS scam on Gerry Street in the form of an automated robocall.
• 9:58 p.m. A tree crashed into a house on Ridge Road.

Wed., July 27

• 2:08 a.m. A driver was cited for speeding on Lafayette Street.
