'Understanding Grief' Following Tragedy In Marblehead

The Marblehead Mental Health Task Force will host a forum on grieving in the high school auditorium Wednesday night.

MARBLEHEAD, MA —As Marblehead students and families deal with a recent tragedy, the town Mental Health Task Force will host a forum on "Understanding Grief" Wednesday night at Marblehead High School.

The event is open to all students, families and staff, as well as community members who would like to attend.

The event starts at 7 p.m. and will include members of the Riverside Community Care Team and Task Force members as they talk about understanding and normalizing the grief process.

A memorial fund set up to create scholarships and other ways to honor Galante's memory raised more than $111,000 since going live less than two weeks ago.
