VIDEO: Here's What It's Like to Come Home to Marblehead
A sister and brother with Marblehead roots explored the North Shore town together for the first time in decades.
Penny Conover and her brother, Ed, have deep roots in Marblehead, but hadn’t walked its streets or beaches together in decades.
That changed in September 2014 when the siblings headed to the North Shore for a visit to the family home, a meetup with relatives and a walk down memory lane.
The visit also resulted in a musical slideshow that Conover posted to YouTube on July 1.

“Ed and Penny’s Excellent Adventure” showcases the sights and sounds the pair took in while visiting the town where their mother was born.
“The colors of the sea brought tears to my eyes,” Conover told Patch via email.
