When is Curbside Christmas Tree Collection?

Christmas is over and it’s almost time to take off all the decorations and put the tree out for trash collection.

Christmas trees will be picked up curbside starting on Monday, Dec. 29 and through Friday, Jan. 16

You should not have them in plastic bags or with Christmas lights and ornaments still on them. Also, wreaths and roping will not be picked up because they contain metal wire, which can damage the town’s brush clipper.

After Jan. 16, residents will have to bring their trees to the transfer station.
