Will Marblehead Be Under a Snow Emergency?
The board of selectmen will vote on the issue Wednesday.

The Marblehead Board of Selectmen will convene in emergency session on Wednesday, Feb. 4 at 11:30 a.m. in order to address the current weather situation.
According to the agenda, selectmen are scheduled to vote on whether to declare a snow emergency and whether to declare a snow budget deficit.
Selectmen declared a snow emergency in January 2014 due to “significant snow accumulation and isolated flooding... and that said snow and flooding poses an immediate threat to the health or safety of persons or property in the Town of Marblehead,” according to minutes from a Jan. 6, 2014 meeting.
