Woman Reports Dead Mouse Under Her Door

The following is an excerpt from the Marblehead Police Department's log:

Monday, Oct. 22:

  • At 10:22 a.m., a resident entered the police station to turn over a wallet discovered on Rowland Street. The wallet was later returned to its owner. 
  • At 10:50 a.m., police responded to a report of screaming and banging on the second floor of a building on Elm Street. Responding officers determined the commotion was the result of a verbal altercation between mother and daughter.
  • At 12:36 p.m., a resident entered the police station looking for advice on how to proceed with an earlier incident.
  • At 12:43 p.m., a woman called police to report receiving threats while walking her dog on Washington Street.
  • At 1:14 p.m., a woman on Broughton Road called police to report that she had a "dead mouse put under her door" and then noticed "another act of vandalism." A full report was taken.
  • At 1:23 p.m., police responded to a report of a boat being stored on a public way on Clifton Avenue.
  • At 1:32 p.m., police responded to a soliciting complaint on Lime Street.
  • At 1:36 p.m., police responded to an accidental 911 call from a home on Beringer Way.
  • At 2:55 p.m., police responded to a report of a loud group of students fighting near the Post Office on Smith Street. 
  • At 3:11 p.m., a $100 was reportedly found on Wallace Road.
  • At 3:13 p.m., a resident entered the police station to turn over some Oxycodone pills for destruction.
  • At 4:00 p.m., a resident called police to report that someone stole his handicapped placard out of his 2008 Nissan Altima while it was parked on Vine Street.
  • At 4:01 p.m., a resident entered the police station to report that someone had entered his garage and "slashed a tether-ball."
  • At 6:21 p.m., a Green Street resident called police to report that one of his "firearms was stolen."
