Woman Reports People 'Chugging' Beverages in Front Seat of Car

Friday, Jan. 16
At 9:42 a.m., a caller reported a vehicle passing a parked truck by crossing into the opposite lane and subsequently nearly striking a child.
At 1:20 p.m., a woman came into the station and asked for an officer to help her retrieve her handicapped placard that had fallen over the dash and down to the windshield. She tried to get it but could not. An officer successfully retrieved the placard.

At 1:56 p.m., Kristopher Shinney, 30, was arrested on a non-Marblehead warrant.
At 3:10 p.m., a woman reported she dropped her car off Monday for repairs and when she returned to pick it up, she was told the vehicle wasn’t there. She said she would continue trying to find out what happened, but might call back to file a stolen vehicle report.

At 7:36 p.m., a woman called to report witnessing two individuals “chugging” beverages in the front seat of a vehicle and hitting three women in the back seat. The witness said the people got out and removed the rear license plate of the vehicle when they saw her pick up her phone. She said the car was operating erratically on Tedesco Street. Officers located the vehicle in a residential driveway.
At 7:57 p.m., a woman reported her daughter’s phone had been stolen from a locker at the high school. The Apple Store tracked the phone and said it was still in the school.
Saturday, Jan. 17
At 12:25 p.m., a woman reported her license plates had been stolen while she was parked in Boston.
