Woman Threatens to Slash Tires of Person Parking in Her Spot

Excerpts from the Marblehead Police Department log.

Thursday, Feb. 19

At 10:11 a.m., a man called to say that a visitor had slammed the caller’s front door upon leaving and the door became stuck. Assistance was rendered.

At 10:42 a.m., a woman reported that another woman had left a voicemail threatening to slash her tires if the first woman parked in her spot again. When police spoke with the woman who allegedly made the threat, she told police she always threatens to flatten people’s tires when they park in her spot and “it has worked so far.” Police suggested she contact police next time rather than making threats.

At 12:09 p.m., a man called to report he lost his wallet containing a few hundred dollars in cash. He later reported that he found the wallet in another drawer.

At 10:14 p.m., a caller reported that she observed underage individuals carrying beer into a nearby house. Police were unable to locate anyone.
