Your Marblehead Weather: The Week Gets Sunnier as It Goes

Keep your umbrella close as you head into the work week as there’s a chance of showers and plenty of clouds in the early week forecast.

Here’s a look at your Marblehead forecast, according to the National Weather Service:

• Monday: There’s a 50 percent chance of showers, mostly after 11 a.m. Otherwise it will be cloudy with a high near 67. Wind gusts could hit 23 mph.
• Tuesday: A bit warmer on Tuesday with a 30 percent chance of rain. Look out for patchy fog before 9 a.m. It’s warmer with clouds and a high near 72.
• Wednesday: At last the skies clear. Look for mostly sunny skies with a high near 73 and a low near 61.
• Thursday: More sun and warmer still. Highs Thursday will reach the upper 70s. Thursday night’s low will drop to around 65.
• Friday: The work week is expected to wrap up with the return of some clouds and slightly cooler temps, with highs in the low to mid 70s.
