2017 Marlborough Main Street Car Show is June 4

Car show

On Sunday, June 4, nearly 300 show cars will turn Marlborough’s Downtown Main Street into an automobilia festival. The United Brethren Lodge of Freemasons will hold its 9th annual classic car and hot rod show to raise money for children’s and veterans’ charities, assisted by the Push Rods Car Club, which marks its 60th anniversary this year. Since 2009, the show has raised over $100,000 for Shriners Hospitals for Children, Children's Dyslexia Centers, St. Jude’s, Masonic Angel Fund for needy Marlborough school children, the Community Cupboard and veterans’ programs including the Wounded Warrior Project and Home Base. This year the Masons will be leading Lodge “Insider’s Tours” from 9am to 2pm in the Masonic building at the corner of Main and Newton for those interested in learning more about Freemasonry. The Lodge is also hosting a Red Cross Blood Drive. Car show registration begins at 8am and the show concludes at 2pm. Rain date is June 18.
