34 Assabet Students Competed at Business Professionals of America
Ten of these students will move on to the national competition.

MARLBOROUGH, MA — These kids are sure to help shape the landscape of the business world in the future.
Thirty-four Assabet Valley students competed at the state level of Business Professionals of America (BPA). Ten of them will move on the national competition in May, which will be held in Boston.
The national level categories the students medaled in included Small Business Management, SQL Database Fundamentals, Presentation Management, Administrative Support, and PC Servicing & Troubleshooting. Within the state level individual categories, Assabet also did well, earning 1st and 2nd place honors in Community Service, Writing and Pin Design and Cover Design.

The students who will now be preparing to take it to the national level are as follows: Jordan Correia, Clinton; Paul Longtine, Hudson, James Cappello, Daniel Padilla, and Hetshinily Cor Diaz, all from Marlborough; Emily Tolentino, from Shrewsbury; Barry White from Westborough; and Ryan Gordon, Abigail Mangsen, and Katrina Pusateri, all from West Boylston.
