4 Tasks Every Business Owner Should Have on Their Daily To-Do List
BBB recommends four things you should be doing every day as a business owner to steer your business towards success.

Writing down your daily goals every morning kickstarts a sense of accomplishment and maps out a plan for the day. By clearing out your mind of the things you keep reminding yourself to do and putting them to paper, you can make room for more important and creative thinking.
For business owners, even the thought of making a to-do list and keeping it updated can be seen as a timely task. With so much to do and so little time to work with, business owners can get lost in the jumble of nonessential distractions that aren’t priorities.

Interact
Interact with your employees everyday. Employees want to know that their boss is easily accessible and willing to talk to them about any concerns they may have. Ask them how they feel about the job, the company, and the people. Good communication in the office makes for happy employees.

Respond
Most of this involves email and checking your social pages. Customer engagement is key to a good reputation. Take the time every day to respond to those who reach out to you, both directly and indirectly (via social media). By taking the time to read what your customers have to say, you’ll acquire a deeper understand of who they are and how you can help them.
Network
Networking doesn’t have to be as time consuming as going to a conference or special event to listen to professionals give advice; networking can be as easy as a quick follow on social media or leaving a business card with your tip at the local coffee shop. Always look to expand your outreach in the community, whether that be by spreading the word about your business, acquiring sales leads, or keeping an eye out for ways your can improve your business by example.
Clear your mind
Going nonstop from the moment you wake up until the end of the day doesn’t mean you’ll get more work done. In fact, going straight through the day with no breaks actually hurts the quality of your work. At the very least, for every two hours of work, take 15 minutes to take a short walk or meditate or engage in a non-work-related activity. An activity that gets your blood pumping is especially beneficial to recharge your brain and energy level.
