It's better to give than to receive and what better way to give than to volunteer.

1. : Located at 33 Boston Post Road West in Marlborough, BayPath Elder Services is looking for volunteer drivers to deliver meals to homebound seniors in MetroWest. It only takes two hours a day. Volunteer one day or as many as you can. Mileage reimbursement is available. For information, call Faith at 508-573-7234.
2. : Dependable and reliable volunteers are needed to visit with Marlborough seniors who are in need of companionship. Consider putting aside just an hour or two a week to make an impact in someone's life. If interested contact Susan at 508-485-6492.

3. : Located in the Walker Building, the mission of the Community Cupboard is to "provide hunger relief, improve the quality of life, and connect families and neighbors in need to essential services in our community." In addition, their goal is "to reduce levels of food insecurity, while strengthening the connections between people and available resources." 4. Greater Marlborough Programs, Inc.: Social & Recreation Volunteer Opportunities are available and in need in the following areas:

- Volunteers are needed to assist the special education professionals for various activities, outings, crafts, etc.
- If you have a hobby that you would like to share your knowledge about, the program consumers are always interested in learning new crafts, arts, etc.
- Coaches are needed for Soft-Ball, Soccer, Basket Ball, Bocce, Bowling, and any other sport offered by Special Olympics of Massachusetts.

The Recovery Connection: Located at 31 Main Street, the mission of The Recovery Connection is to provide "a safe and welcoming place within the community where individuals can obtain peer support from others who are also in recovery. Various activities and member-driven services are planned and put into place for the peers, by the peers. Our main purpose is to help people to lead valued and fulfilled lives free from all forms of addiction within a judgment-free zone."
