6th Marlborough Coronavirus Death Reported
Marlborough has seen two coronavirus deaths since Sunday, according to health officials.
MARLBOROUGH, MA — Marlborough on Tuesday reported the city's second coronavirus since the weekend, plus a big spike in the total number of cases in the city.
Marlborough's fifth and sixth coronavirus deaths were reported on Monday and Tuesday, respectively (the fifth death occurred on Sunday, according to health officials). On Tuesday, the total number of coronavirus cases in the city jump from 257 to 292.
The city also reported that 13 more Marlborough residents had recovered from the virus, leaving 173 active cases — the highest since the outbreak began locally.

Massachusetts added 1,556 new coronavirus cases on Tuesday bringing the total statewide to 41,199. The death toll rose by 152 to a total of 1,961.
