Active Marlborough Coronavirus Cases Decline
After a recent uptick in coronavirus cases, Marlborough is on the decline again.
MARLBOROUGH, MA — The number of active coronavirus cases in Marlborough has dropped significantly over the past week, and no new deaths from the virus have been reported in almost four weeks.
The number of active cases dropped from 33 to 20 over the weekend, according to health department data. The number of deaths remained at 66, which is where it's been since Aug. 3.
Active cases had risen in each of the past five weeks. The 33 active cases reported on Aug. 3 was a high for Marlborough dating back to the beginning of July.

Marlborough has been reporting coronavirus data three times per week since July. Here's how active cases have moved over the summer:
