Advanced Math and Science Academy Battles For 'Quiz Show' Title
Advanced Math and Science Academy takes on the Bromfield School in this trivia classic.
MARLBOROUGH, MA — Marlborough’s Advanced Math and Science Academy, the Season 6 state champion, faces off against the Bromfield School this week on Season 8 of WGBH’s High School Quiz Show.
The episode airs Saturday, March 18, at 6 p.m. on WGBH 2. I've attached a photo from the taping for your use.
High School Quiz Show is a seeded, single-elimination tournament is produced and broadcast by WGBH and hosted by Billy Costa. Sixteen teams of Massachusetts high school students advanced from a pool of more than 110 schools to compete in the televised academic tournament. The 16 schools competing on High School Quiz Show earned the highest scores on an identical oral quiz at WGBH’s “Super Sunday” qualifying event at WGBH studios in Brighton, MA.
