MARLBOROUGH, MA — There's a delicious game of numbers going on at Kindles Wood Fired Pizzeria in Marlborough, explains the Phantom Gourmet.
"And that's because owner David Champeau has designed an overwhelming board of mouthwatering combinations arranged by number, and it has diners delirious."
The Phantom Gourmet recently featured Kindles, showcasing some of its unusual, mouth-watering pies, and interviewed Champeau.
While the options include the more standard, with more than 40 toppings to choose from, Kindles offers a menu of creative speciality pizzas and calzones.
The Smoky Pinocchio, for instance, is roasted corn, applewood smoked bacon and chicken with a balsamic glaze. No. 18 is the Perfect Sunset, which is loaded with pepperoni, pineapple, jalapenos and banana peppers with truffle oil. No 25, the Down Under, has avocado, sliced chicken, mozzarella, red onion, apple wood smoked bacon with a balsamic glaze.
"If our guests seem a little overwhelmed i take an opportunity to tour guide," Champeau told the Phantom.
