MARLBOROUGH, MA — A traveling dinosaur experience is set to take over the city this weekend, bringing life-sized prehistoric creatures and interactive exhibits to families across the region.
Jurassic Quest will be at the Royal Plaza Trade Center from Apr. 17 through Apr. 19, offering what organizers call one of the largest touring dinosaur exhibits in North America.
The three-day event features dozens of realistic, animatronic dinosaurs, including a massive Tyrannosaurus rex, Spinosaurus and Apatosaurus, along with hands-on activities designed for kids and families.
Visitors can expect fossil digs, dinosaur rides, bounce houses, and interactive science stations, as well as opportunities to meet baby dinosaurs and watch live training shows.
There are also LEGO-themed play areas, craft stations and a “Glow Zone” building experience, giving kids a mix of education and entertainment throughout the exhibit.
The event runs on Friday from 1 to 8 p.m., Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Tickets are required for all guests ages two and up, with different admission levels offering access to activities like rides and premium experiences.
Organizers also note that special sensory-friendly hours will be available, featuring reduced noise and smaller crowds for a more relaxed experience.
The event is part of a nationwide tour that stops in cities across the U.S., bringing immersive, family-friendly dinosaur attractions to local venues for a limited time.
