MARLBOROUGH, MA — A party planning and rental services company is celebrating the opening of its new Downtown Marlborough storefront.
Build A Party, which has served the community since 2013, is expanding with a brand-new storefront at 178 Main St, according to the Marlborough Regional Chamber of Commerce. The business will celebrate with a free ribbon-cutting ceremony and after-hours networking event at the store.
Owner Maria Arruda first opened Build A Party with her family 13 years ago. The business first operated as a rental party-supply store in Marlborough before expanding into event decorating across the Boston area, according to its website.
As the business continued to grow, Build A Party branched out into party venues and full-service event planning. Today, the company offers event planning services, event decorations and party supply rentals for customers hosting their own celebrations.
Build A Party also provides tents, tables, chairs, bounce houses, helium balloons, linens and other party essentials for events of all sizes.
The new Downtown Marlborough storefront marks the company’s latest expansion and brings its services to the heart of the city’s business district.
The ribbon-cutting and after-hours event will take place on Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. Attendees can connect with local professionals, tour the new storefront, and learn more about the company’s event planning and party rental services, according to the Marlborough Chamber of Commerce.
