MARLBOROUGH, MA — Marlborough residents can meet local public safety workers during a free community event in August.
The Marlborough Police Department will host National Night Out from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 4, at Whitcomb Middle School, 25 Union St. The family-friendly event is designed to bring residents, local organizations and public safety personnel together for community engagement.
The event will include members of the Marlborough Police Department, Fire Department and Department of Public Works, along with activities and displays for all ages.
Planned attractions include Dunk A Cop, police, fire and DPW touch-a-truck displays, a police K9 and drone display, community organization and business displays, food trucks, classic and muscle cars and trucks, a bounce house and family activities.
Bella the Owl from the Giaquinto Wildlife Center, a local wildlife center in Marlborough that helps injured and orphaned animals, will also appear at the event, where visitors can learn about native wildlife conservation, rehabilitation and education in Marlborough.
The event is free and open to the public.
