MARLBOROUGH, MA — Voters will head to the polls Tuesday to decide four contested races.
The Democratic ballot includes contests for U.S. Senate, the 3rd District Governor's Council seat and Northern District attorney. Republican voters will choose their nominee for governor.
Incumbent Sen. Edward J. Markey faces U.S. Rep. Seth Moulton in the Democratic Senate primary. Mara Dolan faces Margie Palladino for Governor's Council, while Northern District Attorney Marian Ryan faces David Solet, according to Marlborough's sample ballots.
In the Republican governor's primary, Michael Roger Minogue faces Brian Shortsleeve.
Marlborough is divided between the 4th and 13th Middlesex state House districts, but neither has a contested primary. U.S. Rep. Lori Trahan is also unopposed in the Democratic primary for the 3rd Congressional District.
Polling locations will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day.
