Mosquito Spraying Scheduled In Marlborough: See Where

MARLBOROUGH, MA — Mosquito spraying is scheduled in designated areas of Marlborough Wednesday night.

Spraying will begin after 8 p.m. on Sept. 2, the city says. The work is part of mosquito control services provided by the Marlborough Board of Health and Central Massachusetts Mosquito Control Project.

The treatment area includes:

Belmore Place, Bose Road, Dowling Lane, Draper Circle, Emer Road, Farrington Lane, Fish Lane, Flint Drive, Graham Path, Grogan Path, Hamilton Circle, Harper Circle, Haskell Lane, Hawkins Lane, Hemenway Street, Kinder Circle, Langelier Lane, Littlefield Lane, Prendiville Way, Sheffield Terrace, Slocumb Lane, Stetson Drive and Woodcock Lane.

Spray schedules are tentative and may change because of weather, mosquito populations or virus activity, according to the Central Massachusetts Mosquito Control Project.

Residents near an active spray area should remain indoors during the application and for about 15 to 20 minutes afterward. Street-facing windows should be closed and pets should be brought indoors when possible, according to the agency.
