John Picillo named Director of Manufacturing for Automatic Specialties, Inc.

Automatic Specialties, Inc., expert in the production of wire forms and springs from prototypes to production, today announced it has named John Picillo Director of Manufacturing.

Picillo brings to the company over twenty years of experience in plant operation and production. He most recently served as operations manager for Ferguson Perforating where he helped reorganize the plant layout to improve work flow.  Prior to that, Picillo was general manager for Tiyoda-Serec NE Fabricators where he operated as liaison between engineering and manufacturing to improve processes and efficiency.  He also served as general manager for Central Construction Industries overseeing steel fabrication and installation.

A graduate of New England Tech in 1977, Picillo earned his associates degree and has since completed numerous courses in business management, marketing, and technology including AutoCAD 12.
