Assabet's AD Gets Massachusetts Women in Athletics Distinguished Service Award

Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School's athletic director achieved this notable accomplishment.

MARLBOROUGH, MA — Now, the athletic director at Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School can add another award to a long list of accomplishments since she graduated from the school herself.

Terry Riley was recently notified that she had been nominated by a fellow AD and was chosen for one of the Massachusetts Women in Athletics Distinguished Service Awards, sponsored by the MIAA and the New Agenda: Northeast.

Riley will travel to Boston on March 23 with Principal Mark Hollick to receive her award.

In a letter from Sherry Bryant, associate MIAA director, Riley was told, “At the celebration we recognize the contributions made by a few special women who have devoted their time and energy to guide and nurture female athletes. I would like to express my personal best wishes to you as a recipient of this award and extend my thanks for all that you have done to foster the growth and participation of young women in athletics.”
