Former Marlborough Pub Employee Charged After Vandalism, Assault Incidents

MARLBOROUGH, MA — A former employee of a Marlborough bar and restaurant was arrested this week after he vandalized the business multiple times, according to police.

Marlborough police arrested the 29-year-old Berlin resident Sunday evening after the latest vandalism incident.

The first incident happened Saturday night when the former employee spray-painted red crosses on the building. He also sent a video to a former coworker showing him painting the crosses, police said.

The employee returned Sunday night just before 6 p.m. and shot at the windows with a BB gun police said.

He fled the scene before police arrived, but was arrested along I-290 on charges of vandalizing property (two counts), disorderly conduct and assault with a dangerous weapon.
