Books Come to Life Through Simon Kidgits Club Book Blast

On Saturday, March 7th Solomon Pond Mall is hosting its annual Book Blast event and inviting parents and children to bring books to life through special read-aloud sessions, giveaways and story-inspired activities.

Simon is also teaming up with Better World Books to provide each child who attends the event a pre-loved book and bookmark to take home, while supplies last.

Simon Kidgits Clubs Book Blast will provide families the chance to make reading a fun, social experience with various kid-focused offerings. Book Blast event activities will kick off with an exciting read-aloud session presented by Marlborough Librarian Katrina Ealy reading Lola at The Library and a Dance Performance student reading Angelina The Ballerina, scheduled from 1:00 -3:00p.m. Additional books that will be read include Petes A Pizza, Z is for Moose Thats Me!, Where The Wild Things Are, Ten Little Caterpillars and more! Children are also invited to bring a new or gently used book to the event to be donated to Big Hearted Books. There will also be reading-themed arts & crafts like, a Book Worm pencil topper and Personalize your own notebook with duct tape. This event is free for Simon Kidgits Club Members or $5 yearlong membership.
