Boston 25 News Zip Trip comes to Marlborough

Boston 25 News, one of New England’s leading local news networks, will broadcast its popular Zip Trip series live from the City of Marlborough this month.

The Boston 25 Morning News Anchors Gene Lavanchy, Sara Underwood, Daniel Miller, Julie Grauert, Meteorologist Shiri Spear, Elizabeth (Lilly) Hopkins, and “Around Town” Host Michele Lazcano will broadcast in front of a live audience from Marlborough’s Ward Park on July 14 from 6am to 10am.
City officials are encouraging local community members to attend the live broadcast and show their hometown pride.

“We are proud of Marlborough and thrilled to host Zip Trip at Ward Park. Not only will we have the opportunity to show off the beautiful new Senior Center and the renovations to Ward Park, but we will also show what a strong, tight-knit community Marlborough is,” said Mayor Arthur Vigeant.

“We are excited to welcome Boston 25 News to Marlborough,” said MEDC executive director Meredith Harris.

“We are very proud of the great things that have been happening in our city, and Zip Trip will give us the opportunity to show the rest of Massachusetts what Marlborough is all about.”

Zip Trip is a weekly Boston 25 News summer series that aims to showcase Massachusetts communities.
