Boys B-Ball Heads to State Finals at DCU Centre

The Panthers did it. The game to claim the state final is this weekend.

And the Panthers have done it again. The Marlborough boys basketball varsity team beat South Hadley in the semi-finals on Tuesday, 65-58, to earn the team a spot in the state finals this weekend.

The Panthers take on Danvers at 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 14, at the DCU Centre in Worcester.

The boys basketball team first took out Medfield in the quarter finals, followed by a 55-40 win over Hopkinton to claim the semi-finals for the Central II division.

And the Panthers marched to the end of the tournament, beating Concord-Carlisle last Saturday in the division final game, 59-45, to head to the semi-finals.
