Downtown Marlborough Looking Spotless

City workers are doing an impressive job of keeping the streets and sidewalks of downtown Marlborough spotlessly clean. Indeed, approaching Main Street from Route 20, the ride in past the grand old homes with their well manicured lawns and stairways reveals equally well tended sidewalks.

While some businesses and store fronts have put out flower boxes and hanging pots, it is a pity that more downtown businesses have not adopted the bump-outs and landscaped them with flowers and foliage. filled in the bump-outs last summer with the intention that downtown business owners would own and maintain them.

Meanwhile all eyes are on the old fire station where The Vin Bin is finalizing its new store. This location is set to add a touch of class and color to downtown and is an exciting upgrade to the heart of Main Street.
