Here's a good quote I saw on Facebook today!
“Perfectionism is not an attribute in my opinion so don’t beat yourself up when you miss a few workouts or eat some Easter candy. The goal is to have far more good days than bad. Exercise for the joy of feeling good and getting better. Eat right with the intention of fueling your body with the things it needs to perform.”— Tony Horton (founder of Beachbody P90X)

So I’ve gotten to the point where I pause before I eat and think, hmm, that looks good, that probably tastes good, but how will I feel after I eat it? Tired, sluggish, bloated, probably have a crappy workout? Or will I feel energized, strong, and have a spring in my step?
As a coach at Beachbody I am constantly reminded that abs (flat muscular stomach) are made in the kitchen, it is 70 percent diet and 30 percent exercise. Although I am not too concerned about abs at my age , we all want to live our lives healthy and without the need for doctors and medications, bad stuff.

This has been so true in my journey, I have lost 50 pounds over the last one-and-a-half years, but every time I let the diet go, the weight loss stops and you plateau.
