Six Marlborough Companies Rank in Inc 500|5000 List

6 Marlborough companies demonstrate impressive 3 yr growth

Six Marlborough-based companies have been ranked in the 2011 Inc.500|5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies in America.

Companies are ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2007 through 2010. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2007.

Additionally, they must be based in the United States, privately held, for profit, and independent as of December 31, 2010. The minimum revenue required for 2007 is $100,000; the minimum for 2010 is $2 million. Revenue figures given in the company profiles are for calendar years, as are employee counts.

  • # 1844 Blue Cod  (IT Services) 217 employees  – 3  year % growth – 142% to $17 million
  • # 4006 Boston Technology Corporation (IT Services) 37 employees – 3 year % growth - 32%  to $4.1 million
  • # 1506 Bridge Energy Group (Energy ) 85 employees – 3 year % growth - 184%  to $11.9 million
  • # 893 Choice Solutions  (Education)  22 employees   – 3 year % growth - 343% to $4.5 million
  • #4844 The Davis Companies ( HR) 48 employees  - 3 year % growth – 8% to  $40.2 million
