The Branches of Marlboro Hosts Pre-Opening Celebration

Over 50 Local Officials, Health Care Professionals & Other Individuals Gathered to See and Learn About Benchmark's First Metrowest Community

Building on the success of The Branches of North Attleboro, Benchmark, the Northeast’s leading provider of senior housing, is opening a second assisted living and memory care community with The Branches brand this November in Marlboro, Mass. The Branches of Marlboro held a pre-opening celebration yesterday, hosting over 50 guests, including local officials, health care professionals and individuals who intend to call The Branches home or have secured space for a loved one. The community, located on Bolton Street between Marlborough High School and Charles W. Whitcomb Middle School, will be Benchmark’s first in the Metrowest region.

Kelly Arnao, senior executive director of The Branches communities, spoke about the community’s commitment to redefining the aging experience and helping its residents discover what’s meaningful and possible at every stage of their lives. “For most people, life stops after retirement. We want to help our residents continue to grow by discovering and pursuing what they are passionate about and celebrating their accomplishments along the way. Our staff is committed to elevating human connection and keeping our residents connected to the people, places and things that matter most in their lives,” says Arnao.

In addition, Allison Melahouris, senior vice president of operations and strategic initiatives for Benchmark, spoke about the success of the first Branches community, The Branches of North Attleboro, and how The Branches of Marlboro came to be. “Thanks to Kelly and her team, The Branches of North Attleboro has grown into a thriving, active community that serves as an integral part of the area and is well known for its award-winning program. Before building The Branches of Marlboro, we conducted focus groups and gathered lots of feedback from our residents and families to ensure it suits the exact needs of those we serve.”
