Bring Your Mother To A '50s Style Tea In Marlborough
Here's a unique idea to do with your mom on Mother's Day.

MARLBOROUGH, MA—Here's a particularly unique idea for you and your mom for Mother's Day, and a way to travel back in time.
Think about bring your mother to a 1950s-style tea with the Marlborough Historical Society on Saturday, May 13, any time between 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Peter Rice Homestead, 377 Elm St.
This event features tea and other finger food refreshments in an atmosphere that is in the 1950s era, when white gloves, hats and pearls were a mother’s signature for a day out, and poodle skirts and Coca-Cola were hip. Accenting the occasion will be lots of Marlborough 1950s memories and displays, and there will be crafts for children to participate in, said the announcement.
