Car Knocks Down Utility Pole In Marlborough
A stretch of Bolton Street was closed Wednesday afternoon due to the incident, according to police.
MARLBOROUGH, MA — A driver crashed into a utility pole along Bolton Street in Marlborough on Wednesday afternoon, forcing police to shut down the street.
The crash was reported just after 12:30 p.m., and at that time Bolton Street was closed from Union Street north to the police station on the other side of Whitcomb Middle School.
According to a police, a driver heading southbound left the road and crashed into the pole. The driver had minor injuries, but no one else was in the car. The pole was located at approximately 283 Bolton St., which is halfway between Union and the police station.

National Grid was called to the scene to make repairs.
