CaRMaH Cat of the Week, Captain!!!

I’m Captain, and I tell you, I’ve been through some rough seas! I was brought to Tufts with a concussion and damage to my right eye after being hit by a car. I had to have my right eye removed, and it took me a few days to get over the concussion. Then, my sweet personality emerged, and I charmed everyone who cared for me! Tufts transferred me to CaRMaH so I could get a great forever home. Then, my fur started falling off! So, back to Tufts, and a visit to the dermatologist – turns out I’d accidently been given 2 rabies vaccines 2 weeks apart, and I had a rare reaction, causing the fur to fall out. Good news is it will eventually grow back in. Bad news, is I’ll lose more before it starts regrowing.
Well, I’ll let you pet that velvet soft skin AND my beautiful blue coat! I get along with other animals just fine, though I’d love a home of my own. I’m about 3 years old, and in great health!

OUR KITTEN POLICY: Kittens under the age of 6 months need other cats for social development and fewer behavioral problems - and they keep each other company when people aren't around. So, we adopt out kittens in pairs, or with their charming momcats, or into home already having a young or active cat.
