CaRMaH Cat of the Week, Dustin!

I’m Dustin, a cat with the wisdom of the ages! You see, I’ve been a temple cat in my past lives. Started in Egypt, then moved in to the Greek temples, then down to ancient Aksum in Ethiopia. During the Middle Ages I stayed far from Europe – they weren’t treating cats so well – so I explored the Far East. I was a guard cat of the Forbidden City in China, attacking intruders from the shadows. Needing a more reflective space, I spent several lives in Buddhist temples. Ah, so many lives have passed – I think my last temple life was in a Shriner’s temple!
Well, now I find myself without a home of any kind. I have a gentle nature, and I ask gently and persistently for head rubs and petting. I’d like a person or family that loves to be loved. I will be sure to worship you as I’ve worshipped so many other gods.
I was at risk for euthanasia, from a high volume NY rescue – and the folks there wanted me to have a chance for a new life.
I’m 8 years old and in good health.
I will be your temple guard cat!

OUR KITTEN POLICY: Kittens under the age of 6 months need other cats for social development and fewer behavioral problems - and they keep each other company when people aren't around. So, we adopt out kittens in pairs, or with their charming momcats, or into home already having a young or active cat.
