CaRMaH Cat of the Week, Hamilton!

I'm Hamilton, and I'm a bit concerned that you might not love me. Really, I am so worth it! As soon as you start petting me, my butt goes right up! Give me a minute more, and I will purr, even as I look shyly at you. I don't mean to be coy, but I was being rehomed on Craigslist because of a 'lifestyle' change, and I want to be with someone who will love me for my life. I have a gorgeous brown tabby coat - sometimes I pretend I'm a little jungle cat as I play! I'd be fine with a gentle cat, I'm not sure about dogs. I can certainly go on my own, so I pay attention just to you! My ideal home will understand that I start shy, and keep me in a small room where I can easily be picked up and cuddled. That way, I learn to trust my new people before I explore the rest of the house - this could easily be 2 weeks! Resident cats can come see me regularly while I'm settling in, so we bond, too. I'm about 3 years old - I have diabetes, and I'm doing great on insulin. In fact, I will just continue eating while I get my dose!
