CaRMaH Cat of the Week: Jemima!
CaRMAH is your Marlboro-Hudson area resource for choosing a great cat to bring into your home

I’m Jemima, a husky and athletic girl! Well, I’m a bit more than husky, but I am simply mad about string and I’m trimming up well with exercise and moderate eating. I was orphaned when I was a week old, and bottle fed. I’ve spent my 7 years with a lovely couple, but life has changed, and my widowed owner is moving, and cannot take me. I am overall a very affectionate girl, enjoy my brother Sonny, and tolerate most other cats. I can very occasionally swat if overexcited, so I think a home without the youngest of children would be best. I have a sparkling personality to match my lovely gold and white coat, which I keep well groomed. I’ve been checked by the vet, and I’m in great health.
Got a feather on a string for me to play with?
All our cats are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines, tested for FeLV/FIV, microchipped, treated for parasites and checked by a vet before adoption. To apply please go to http://www.carmah.org/info/adoption. Questions can be sent to: adoptacat@carmah.org

OUR KITTEN POLICY: Kittens under the age of 6 months need other cats for social development and fewer behavioral problems - and they keep each other company when people aren’t around. So, we adopt out kittens in pairs, or with their charming momcats, or into home already having a young or active cat.
