CaRMaH Cat of the Week, Katahdin!!!

I am Katahdin, a kitten as beautiful and changeable as my namesake. I love to play with sparkle balls like a wild hunter. I'll call to my person to come, then, I hiss like a soft gust of wind, even when I'm content. And, like a mountain, you need to come to me, I won't come to you. Once I trust you, I'll cuddle and purr - and when I have had enough, I'm off! I am most affectionate when my person is in bed - I'll sleep near, and even come over for head butts and the occasional love nip. I am shy, and will take patience for my new person to come out of my shell - and I will bond deeply with them. I would not do well with most children. I will blossom if there is a friendly cat in the house - I so love other cats! I'm about 7 months old, and in fabulous health.

OUR KITTEN POLICY: Kittens under the age of 6 months need other cats for social development and fewer behavioral problems - and they keep each other company when people aren't around. So, we adopt out kittens in pairs, or with their charming momcats, or into home already having a young or active cat.
