CaRMaH Cats of the Week, Irene Wood and Bob Fosse

CaRMaH is your Hudson-Marlborough area resource for adopting a great cat into your home and family.

A wonderful bonded pair! Please consider bringing them to your home together!

Hi! My name is Irene Wood. I was found living in a woodpile in Worcester. Up until that point, I really didn’t hang out with humans at all. For the past few months, I’ve been adjusting to living indoors. I’m shy, but I do like to be petted and I don’t mind hanging out with humans. I spend all my time with my adopted big brother, Bob Fosse. I would like to live in a quiet house with Bob. I’m great with other cats and dogs.

My name is Bob Fosse. I had a run in with a car earlier this year, but thanks to some fancy footwork, I lost a leg instead of my life. Even though I’m short a leg, I can still dance, run, and jump. I’ve only been a house cat for a few months. Before that, my interactions with humans were pretty limited. I’m shy at first, but I come around eventually. I love to be petted and scratched, especially on my neck and face. I do everything with my sidekick, Irene. I need my adopters to be very patient with me as I adjust to a new environment and learn to trust them. I would like to live in a quiet home. I’m awesome with other cats and good with dogs too!

All our cats are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines, tested for FeLV/FIV, microchipped, treated for parasites and checked by a vet before adoption. To apply please go to http://www.carmah.org/info/adoption. Questions can be sent to: adoptacat@carmah.org
OUR KITTEN POLICY: Kittens under the age of 6 months need other cats for social development and fewer behavioral problems - and they keep each other company when people aren't around. So, we adopt out kittens in pairs, or with their charming momcats, or into home already having a young or active cat.
