Closure At Key I-290, I-495 Ramp Coming To Marlborough
MassDOT will be making bridge repairs along a heavily used ramp between the highways.
MARLBOROUGH, MA — A key link between I-495 and I-290 will be closed for two nights this week for bridge repair work, according to MassDOT.
Construction crews will be working along the Route 85 Connector on Tuesday and Wednesday nights from about 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. During that period, the on-ramp from I-290 eastbound to I-495 northbound and the connector will be closed.
"These temporary overnight traffic impacts are necessary to allow crews and contractors to conduct bridge repair operations safely and effectively," MassDOT said in a bulletin.

Drivers trying to enter I-495 northbound from the construction area will be directed to I-495 southbound to the Route 20 exit, which will be open to I-495 northbound as usual.
