The Metrowest Colonials lost their season-opening game on Saturday, falling to the Boston Bandits, 29-0.  The Bandits are a perennial powerhouse in the Elite AAA Division of the New England Football League and are expected to contend for the title again this season.  . The team practices in the city as well and players hail from across and beyond Metrowest.  They will play their first home game of the 2012 season against the Bedford Whaling City Clippers on Saturday, July 28th at 7 p.m.
